Hello all, my name is Lindsey.

This GoFundMe is for a very special person, Sierra Ashton.

Some days ago, Sierra was at home with her husband, John Ashton, and their 3 children (5 months, 4 yrs old & 14 yrs old) when Sierra had an asthma attack, prompting John to call 911. When in the ambulance, they gave her something to calm her down; not being able to breathe will make one freak out. Once at the hospital, Sierra had a heart attack in the ICU. She was gone for 10 minutes before they were able to get a pulse back. She has been in what I believe to be a medically induced coma.

This morning she had life-saving surgery that they were sure she wouldn’t pull through, but she did!

Now it’s a waiting game to look at brain function and just general assessment of the future.

It’s looking like a rough road for what’s to come, good or bad.

If you know Sierra, you know she’s a tough cookie and won’t go down easy. She’s putting up the good fight.

Sierra is a barber in Parkville, and her husband does HVAC. With his wife in the hospital and taking care of the littles, income has come to a halt.
