Hello, my name is Sheila Baughman.

I'm a single 60-year-old woman on a fixed income of social security.

I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story. I sincerely appreciate it.

On Thursday, April 17th, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and had surgery on Wednesday, April 23rd to remove a very large mass.

I will be participating in chemotherapy and radiation, but my oncologist does not have a set date for me at this time. I'll share this information once I have a confirmed date.

Although I'm facing a challenging journey, I'm determined to beat the challenge mentally and physically.
