On the 7th of July, my father suffered an acute stroke. He and my daughter are the only family I have left near me. Right now, I’m his caregiver and power of attorney. I’ve been praying that he has a great recovery, but the hospital bills and other expenses have seriously increased and caused me severe emotional trauma. We were on the verge of having a new home, but as we speak, we are severely impacted and struggling to survive.

My father is my best friend and hero. He himself is an M.D., and it breaks my heart to see him like this in the hospital Progressive Care Unit. I’m praying for some ease, comfort, and peace for my father and myself.
