Her name is Sharon Ruyle. She has so many titles as she is related to many of us differently. She is rare, as some of you already know. Those that do not know her, trust us, she is special. This is a lengthy story and isn't over yet.
By God's beautiful design, He woke her up Sunday morning, June 9, 2024. She was looking forward to seeing David, her son's grave. It was his birthday. Her daughters met her there as it was one of their birthdays too. She is so proud of all of these beautiful souls she created.
A short time later, she would be driving down Route 130 just before 5 p.m., one of the many times she's traveled that road. It was said that before she left Greenup, she was smiling and glowing like she always does.
A terrible accident happened. Sharon was hit head-on. Before she knew it, she was being airlifted to the hospital and has been fighting for her life ever since.
These are the injuries the girls have been told so far. She has 12 staples on the left side of her head, ribs #2 - #8 are broke causing her left lung to struggle, left tibia compound break, left femur broke in two places, left forearm both bones broke, sternum, right heel crushed and both kneecaps broke. She has had several blood transfusions and needs many upcoming surgeries. Thankfully, she was very aware and communicating after the accident. She is currently on a ventilator until this next surgery, and then they will take her off of it.
She needs us now more than ever. We know she would never ask, but we are not sure what insurance is going to cover. Sharon has always maintained independently and unfortunately didn't have a financial power of attorney. We really need help paying her bills and taking care of everything while she focuses on just healing. Whatever amount is so appreciated. Please share this Go Fund Me as it all adds up. The prayers are the most important, so please keep them coming. We will also be posting updates here. There is so much more to her story. God bless each of you

She loves floating down the river with all her girls. This was just last summer. She is so full of life and will have quite a story to tell after all of this.
