Help Shannon beat Stage 4 Cancer

It's hard to believe I'm here again, but yes, it's Stage IV and I'm in the fight.

In 2019, I faced Stage IIIc breast cancer and, with a combination of conventional and holistic treatments, I was able to reclaim my health and enjoy six beautiful years with my family, contributing in this world, inspiring others and fulfilling my purpose.

Now, I’m facing a new challenge: metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my spine, causing a fracture and requiring urgent spinal surgery. In November, I went to the ER with some back pain and they found a tumor had fractured the vertebrae. I was admitted and underwent emergency spinal surgery. I spent a week in the hospital, processing the news and putting together a plan for the future.

The diagnosis is stage 4 cancer that spread to bone and spine. I am determined to beat this again—this time with an even more aggressive, integrative approach. I’ve never been one to back down from a fight, and I’m stepping into this with as much strength, faith, and intention as I can.

It’s urgent that I begin aggressive treatments right away. When the tumor broke through the bone- the cancer cells were released and are circulating, which means I need to get my immune system fighting hard and fast. The good news—and what gives me tremendous hope—is that CT scans of my brain, chest, and abdomen are completely clear. There doesn't appear to be additional tumors. I have a very real, powerful, 100% chance to beat this for good and am doing even more aggressive testing to ensure we find every bit of it.

My husband John has been my rock for 27 years, and our daughter Trinity, who is 15, is my greatest inspiration. Trinity is homeschooled so she can graduate early, and she dreams of a career in law where she can help others. She loves animals, adventure, and brings light to every room she enters. I want to be there to watch her graduate, pursue her dreams, and experience all of life’s milestones.

My family, my business, and my community work mean everything to me. We’ve always given back, supporting our staff and helping others build lives and businesses they love. Contributing, inspiring, and lifting others up is who I am at my core, and I plan to keep doing that through this journey too.

To give myself the best chance, I am starting treatment next week at a world-renowned Integrative Wellness Center. I’ll be treated directly by a world-renowned expert in beating cancer—someone with proven results and success. I am truly in the best hands possible, with a plan that is strategic, personalized, and built to work.

We’ve got this. My plan includes IV and nutritional therapies, hyperbaric oxygen, Kaqun oxygen baths, ozone, red light, detoxification, IPT, PEMF, and immunotherapy—attacking the cancer from every angle. Insurance doesn’t cover these treatments, and as a self-employed family, we’re already facing significant out-of-pocket costs from surgeries and lost income. I am so blessed to have an incredible community of friends who love and support me, and I appreciate anything you can contribute or give. We're not in a position to do this alone. It’s humbling to ask, but very necessary.

How funds will be used:

I want to share openly how the funds will be used:
  • Deductible expenses and out-of-pocket medical.
  • Doctor appointment expenses
  • Testing needed
  • Supplements, prescriptions, machinery required
  • Therapies such as high-dose IV, hyperbaric oxygen, hyperthermia, Kaqun oxygen baths, etc as prescribed in my treatment plan.

What we won't use funds for:
  • Travel - we have lots of stockpiled miles and if I have to travel to a location, we should have that handled.
  • Food, housing, etc.
  • Insurance coverage
  • Anything other than life-saving methods.

I am committed to sharing my journey publicly, offering health insights, recovery tips, and inspiration to help others prevent and overcome similar challenges. If I’ve inspired or helped you in any way—whether through my work, my posts, my business, or my heart—I would be honored by your support. Last time I fought this, I didn't ask for help, but this time I need to. Your contribution will help me fight for my life, support my family, and continue giving back to the world, which is what I love to do most.
