Hello! My name is Seth Hood and I’m a 20-year-old aspiring professional race car driver! I am starting this Gofund Me to help me on the financial side of my racing career, as other drivers can understand that finding sponsors can be pretty difficult.

When I was 12 I began karting and by the time I was 14 I got my first championship! Then I moved to big cars when I was 15. Once I graduated high school in 2022 I headed south to North Carolina where I went to college at NASCAR Technical Institute! There I learned the basics of the sport I loved so much and wanted to drive in one day! During school it was difficult for me to race full time but I managed to squeeze a couple races in here and there but I’m looking to go back to full time competition!

The series I’m looking to get into in North Carolina is the INEX Legend Car Series! These Legend cars are the gateway into oval racing as many big name NASCAR drivers like Willam Bryon, Bubba Wallace, Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney have all competed in them during a time in their career. I’m looking to get as much seat time as possible to be able to move forward and possibly move up later down the road!
