Join Seth's Fight: Beat Cancer Together

** Update** 6/18/2025 Thank you all for your support and prayers! God is so good! The scans came back promising but led to a round of chemo. Seth completed his round of chemo June 4th. It hit him pretty hard, but he is recovering well. He will have to do some close monitoring, but the future looks bright! Thank you for supporting him and his family during this scary time!

No one ever wants to hear the words “you have cancer”. Seth and his family were busy planning for their future, taking a trip and making memories together when their world came to a screeching halt.

As many of you know, Seth has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. He has already undergone surgery and has been out of work since April. They are awaiting staging to see how long he will have to do chemo, but regardless, he begins chemo June 4th.

Many have asked how you can help. First and foremost, prayers for healing and for his family as they navigate this road to recovery together are greatly appreciated. Secondly, Seth is a proud, hard working overhead lineman and the main financial provider for his family. He has been out of work since April and will continue to be as he goes through treatment. Allyssa, who works part-time to accommodate their kids’ schedules, will be taking time off to care for Seth as he goes through treatment as well.

As you know, expenses can pile up quickly in this economy. Although programs help to lessen the burden, when you aren’t bringing in what you usually are to sustain your bills, that creates a lot of stress and anxiety, which is the last thing he should have to worry about as he fights this battle. Any donation received will be used towards household bills, gas going back and forth to Dana Farber any unforseen medical expenses etc., so Seth can focus on healing and beating this thing.

Seth can’t wait to put this behind him and get back to living his best life, working, helping his kids prep for their upcoming sports season, coaching and being an active member of the Silver Lake Youth Football Board. Thank you for your prayers and support!
