Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings from the teachers of O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance!

As many of you know, Seana Isaac, a cherished alumna of the O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance, has faced an incredibly challenging journey since her diagnosis of Diffuse Midline Glioma of the pons. With her devoted parents by her side, Seana has demonstrated remarkable strength as she confronts the obstacles ahead. She has bravely undergone a brain biopsy, completed two rounds of radiation, and participated in clinical trials—all in hopes of overcoming this formidable diagnosis.

Today, we are relaunching a GoFundMe campaign that aligns with Seana’s inspiring “More Than Exceptional” rebrand and celebrates her love of Irish dance. This message reflects not only her fight against brain cancer but also that she is so much more than her diagnosis. Each day, Seana exemplifies resilience and courage in her battle for life. However, 2025 has brought new challenges, including concerning MRI results and additional health issues, and she is actively exploring new treatment options across the country.

Unfortunately, the financial burden on the Isaac family has become overwhelming. The mounting medical expenses from Seana’s treatments, along with the cost of ongoing care, have created a challenging situation. They are facing a reality where every treatment option carries significant costs, and the stress of these financial challenges compounds their difficulties. This is why your support is needed. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference in their ability to navigate this challenging time. With Seana their utmost priority, Kenny has retired and Sharon works part-time when she can. Your support can alleviate financial strain on Sharon and Kenny, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: supporting Seana in her fight for life while nurturing her happiness and well-being.

Amid these struggles, one constant shines through: Seana's unwavering love for Irish dance. The dance studio is her sanctuary—a place of joy and solace. Every week, she assists with classes, teaches private lessons to her cousin Addie, and showcases her creative talents. Last summer, she co-directed the recital, embodying the spirit of community she holds dear. Currently, she is preparing for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities and is excited to bring the OGQ dancers to her former elementary school.

Seana is also eagerly looking forward to attending the World Championships in April, a dream that has become a beacon of hope for her since her diagnosis. The anticipation of beautiful music and a vibrant atmosphere fills her with excitement, reminding us all of the uplifting power of dance. We believe this trip will bring her immense joy and significantly enhance her mental well-being.

Below, we've shared some heartfelt photos and videos that capture the joy Seana brings to Irish dance. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your kindness and support during the highs and lows of this incredibly challenging time mean the world to Seana, Sharon, Kenny, and the entire OGQ family.

With heartfelt gratitude,

OGQ Staff
