We are Scott Strong!

Hello.

Thank you for taking the time to come across our page. We’re the Lewis’s! About a month ago, tragedy struck our family to the person who is at the center of it all, our father and loving husband, Scott. After enjoying a nice evening with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter, Scott became cognitively impaired, where a stroke followed soon after. After calling 911 EMT’s rushed him to the hospital, where Scott endured surgery and being on a ventilator for five days. Miraculously, Scott was able to come off the ventilator and breathe on his own. After much rehabilitation over the next three weeks, Scott worked hard to regain his abilities. Now, a month later, Scott gets to go home! Scott’s journey is far from over, as he continues to work hard on being able to communicate and talk again, as well as other cognitive and strengthening abilities. We are all so in awe of his strength and so appreciative that he has made such an amazing recovery and continues to make big strides in getting back to the goofy father and husband we all know and love. Unfortunately, we live in a time where medical emergencies come at a great cost and can be such a financial burden. With Scott’s medical team in the hospital over the last month, to the continued rehabilitation Scott will need outpatient, we would be overly appreciative to any form of financial relief at this time. We, as well as Scott, love and appreciate all of you!
