Hi, I’m Saul, a mycologist and cultivator with a dream: to launch a small mushroom farm in Salt Lake City that grows gourmet and medicinal mushrooms using sustainable, science-backed practices.

After years studying mycology and plant pathology and honing my skills as a cultivator, I’m officially founding Mushalom, a micro-farm and mycology company based in the SLC area. We’re kicking things off with a mix of fresh culinary mushrooms (like Lion’s Mane and Blue Oysters) and medicinal tinctures (like Reishi and Turkey Tail) grown in-house from hardwood logs and climate-controlled spaces.

We’ve already secured zoning permission from the city, started inoculating logs, and opened our business accounts. Now we need a boost to fund:
