Support Sarah in her battle against AML

Sarah is facing the fight of her life after her acute myeloid leukemia relapsed 3/2025, for a second time. As she undergoes rigorous treatment, she needs our support more than ever. This is her second relapse in one year. She has faced septic shock, intubation, many ICU stays, and received over 100 blood transfusions. Sarah is a humble Daisy nominated RN who enjoys staying active and positive in her community. This fundraiser is to help alleviate some of the financial burdens and provide the care and resources Sarah needs during this challenging time. Update: I haven’t shared this in a while because the generosity the first time was incredible and we were hoping it would keep Sarah afloat until she made it back into remission. Thankfully since then Sarah has been matched up with some amazing doctors and she has had some improvement. This summer she was able to play volleyball when she felt up to it, spend time with friends, and even get outdoors with her partner Kevin and their dog Butters. Some days it’s easy to forget how sick Sarah is because she is strong and fights so hard to enjoy her life regardless of cancer, but unfortunately she is still VERY sick and still has a long road ahead of her. She has had at least three hospitalizations in the last 6 months and between them goes to Syracuse 2-3 times a week for bloodwork and transfusions. Her immune system is very weak due to her treatment and more days than not she is exhausted. She’s still not in remission and we don’t know when she will finally get there but the likelihood of her going back to work anytime in the near future is unrealistic, so once again I am sharing this to see if we can get her some help. None of the money collected goes to anyone or anything but Sarah for transportation, medical bills, and her needs at this time. So if you are able please consider donating to help Sarah out.
