On January 17th, Sarah was admitted to RI Hospital due to a medical crisis. One of the many she has unfortunately been experiencing for years now due to MCAS.

During this stay, the doctors have discovered two masses in Sarah’s brain that have been negatively affecting her hormone regulation in addition to diagnosing Sarah with Addison's disease.

The treatment for Addison's disease is steroids, which unfortunately trigger her MCAS.

The team at RI Hospital is working to manage both of Sarah’s autoimmune diseases while also keeping her comfortable and supporting her in her journey to walk again.

I am asking for your help (because she won’t) for this incredibly strong, courageous, and perseverant woman who continues to put a positive spin on her situation every day.
