Hi all, my name is Sarah, and I am Ambrose's Mom. Ambrose has been in and out of the hospital since he was just under a year for lung problems. When he was two, he finally got the diagnosis of Asthma. Today we have received another diagnosis which could be impacting his airways and muscles around his face, jaw and neck. His top teeth are forming into a "V" shape, and his lower jaw is moving back, which is not normal. This type of muscular issue will affect him for the rest of his life if we cannot start Pediatric Myofunctional Therapy while he is young. Unfortunately, the program that he is in, our insurance does not cover it. The treatment is for 12 months and costs $1000, we need a 50% downpayment to receive the tools he needs in order to start realigning his jaw and teeth. We are asking for any help that we can get, we sadly cannot afford this type of treatment at the moment, and we really want to help him as soon as possible to ensure his facial and neck muscles will become stronger and aligned in the way that they need to be. This will help to improve his speech, eating, drinking, and his ability to breath better.
