Greetings loved ones! I’m so excited to take Roberta’s First Take to New York City on July 14th!!!

This fundraiser will help with housing, rehearsal space, and travel to make this show everything it needs to be for its NYC debut!!!!

Roz White's cabaret show, "Roberta's First Take," will be performed at The Green Room 42 on July 14, 2025. Roz White is better known for her performances in Broadway touring productions like "TINA" and "DREAMGIRLS." Roberta’s First Take, conceived by Howard University’s own Roz White, written by Steven A. Butler Jr., and directed by Courtney Baker-Oliver, also Howard alumni, will explore Roberta Flack's early works, with stories of love, revolution, and most importantly, the music of the inimitable prodigy—a celebrated Howard University alumna and a true luminary of the 20th century.
