Rosaida "Rosie" Jaime is a hardworking, caring, compassionate, generous woman. She is a mother of three great kids. Eddie 22, Angelena 18, & Rosaly 10. She works full time at a local RV dealership. She has a great sense of humor & enjoys cooking, music, & dancing. In her spare time she likes to go antiquing and donates a lot of her time to her children and their activities. For instance, at her youngest child's elementary school; helping them with school functions and field trips.
Since January of this year, Rosie has been dealing with abdominal pains. She went to the doctor three times for these pains & was told she was experiencing intestinal parasites. She listened to the doctor and ensured she treated herself accordingly. But the pain was still there.
On May 1, 2024, while at work, the pain was so incredible, she asked to be driven to the ER. She could wait no longer and knew she needed immediate care. It was at the ER where they found a mass and had to conduct an emergency extraction surgery. The doctors were worried about the size and location of the mass. So, they tested it for cancer. After Rosie had been in the hospital for over a week, she got the news no parent or person would ever want to hear. It was confirmed that the mass was cancerous. The doctor diagnosed her with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.
This news is frightening for anyone to hear but for a mother & wife, it is even more devastating. So many thoughts were racing through her and her family's minds. Now the time is ticking for Rosie to get the care and treament that she needs to fight this disease. We are asking for help to raise money for her treatment and lost wages (wages lost so far and those yet to come due to treatment). If you could find it in your heart to donate to an upstanding, loving woman we would be most grateful. If you do not have the funds to donate, we ask that you please share this fundraiser to help get the word out. Finally, we would like to thank you for your time and thank you for at least considering Rosie. It takes a village to get through something like this, but together, "We can do it!" as the great Rosie the Riveter once said.
