update: I had my double mastectomy 11–11. I’m doing OK but still I’m unable to work at this time and I still have bills that need to be paid until I can return to work, like car insurance, power, phone, gas back-and-forth to the doctor and animal feed. Please help if you can. I don’t want to drown and try to play total catch up. Everyone knows it takes a very long time to catch up and stay ahead. I’m ready to put 2025 behind me and start fresh in 2026. Please pray for me.

After losing my mom in January and losing David in August, I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am hopeful and I hold strong in my faith, but I’m going to have surgery, double mastectomy and I’m gonna be out of work for a while. I’m going to need help with bills during this time and if you can find in your heart to help any way possible, I would greatly appreciate it thank you so much and God bless.

UPDATE: David passed away 8/19/2025. Thank you all for your donations, I was able to bring him home and had him home for 2 weeks. The donations now is helping me get back on my feet while I work through the loss of my soulmate. It’s so hard knowing he will never walk through this door again. Thank you and continue to pray for our son and myself.

UPDATE: David has chronic pneumonia and is having to be deep suctioned several times a day. I don’t know what I’m gonna do without him. Right now, We are just keeping him comfortable. I prayed for him to live, to talk, and for me to bring him home and all those things happened. I’ve also prayed for God‘s will to be done and for him to be healed. He is going to be healed it’s just not gonna be here on earth. I’m going to keep the fund running cause we also need help with final arrangements. Thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and donations and in the days and weeks ahead, please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Robin Gymer Owens and I’m David’s significant other. David is a wonderful person; he is always helping anyone that asks for help, whether it’s fixing or painting a car. He doesn’t know the word “no”.

Well, on June 29, 2025, on that Sunday morning, he had a hemorrhagic stroke, which is a terrible brain bleed. He was flown to Prisma Neuro ICU. They did not give a good prognosis and didn’t even think he would live through the night. Well, God had other plans. He spent a little over a month in the hospital. He was able to come home, but he has a trachea and feeding tube. It’s going to be a long journey, and I am going to be by his side the whole way. This is why I’m starting this GoFundMe. I’ve been out of work since this all started, and we are needing help with our monthly bills. Yes, I’ve applied for assistance, but we know that takes time. Please find it in your heart to help if you can. All prayers are always welcomed. Thank you and God Bless.
