**Help Robert Breck Recover from Brain Surgery and Stroke**

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

Six weeks ago, my brother, Robert Breck, began experiencing a persistent headache that wouldn't subside. After a visit to urgent care, he was urgently referred to the ER. An MRI revealed a mass growing at the base of his brain, adjacent to the pituitary gland. This discovery led to an emergency brain surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

During his recovery at Tufts, Rob faced an additional challenge when he suffered a stroke. This stroke resulted in the loss of control over the left side of his body and impaired his ability to communicate. Despite these daunting obstacles, Rob has shown remarkable resilience. After nearly two weeks in the ICU, he began making a considerable and odds-defying recovery.

This isn't the first time Rob has faced such a health scare. Roughly seven years ago, a mass was discovered on his pituitary gland, which also required surgery to remove. Thankfully, the mass was non-cancerous, but his pituitary gland never regained function. As a result, Rob has been on multiple medications just to live a normal life.

The prognosis for his current condition is promising, and with no setbacks, a full recovery within about nine months is attainable. However, the journey ahead is long and arduous. Rob will face significant medical bills and a loss of wages, creating immense financial and mental stress.

While Rob does have insurance, many of the medical bills will either not be covered or only partially covered. As his brother, witnessing Rob's struggle has been incredibly painful. Yet, I am thrilled by the prospect of his full recovery. I want to help relieve him of the additional stress that comes with worrying about financial burdens.
