This is Richard Tharp. He is a best friend, son, brother, cousin, grandson, and graduate college student. Recent medical issues and trials revealed a diagnosis of cancer, specifically, sarcoma located in his abdomen. Richard will be traveling from Hawaii, where he is currently a graduate student, to Stanford, CA for a consult with their oncology department, and then once a plan has been established, he will return to Hawaii, where treatment will be carried out by his team of doctors. He is currently taking a gap year, where he can focus on his treatment, and then return to school after kicking cancer's butt.

Richard's personality and quality traits are that of a comedian, reliable, kind-hearted, supportive, selfless, and resilience. After high school, he moved to New York, where he received his Bachelor's in Psychology, with a true internal drive to help others with their mental health. Richard has always put the needs of others above his own, almost to a fault. Now, he needs help from all his friends, family, and loved ones.
