Join Richard Meabon's Journey Back to Health

My name is Jordyn Hazelton and I am raising funds on behalf of Richard Meabon who has experienced the unthinkable this week.

Saturday, May 25th my best friend Nancy was having dinner with her family when she quickly realized her dad (Richard) was having a stroke. Thankfully, Nancy knew exactly what was happening and because of that, first responders were there to care for him immediately. He was transported uptown where he underwent an emergency thrombectomy to remove the clot. Richard is awake but still in the neuro ICU and has a long road to recovery ahead. Unfortunately, Richard’s insurance only covers a very short period of rehabilitation and it simply is not enough to get him back to full health. The Meabons are some of the kindest and most loving people I’ve ever met. Nancy has been my best friend for as long as I can remember and will do anything to help anyone she can. She has been there for me (and all of her friends) from the smallest time of need to absolute tragedy. I know they would be immensely grateful for any help to have their family unit back in one piece! Anything you can give to alleviate the cost of Richard’s upcoming medical needs will be greatly appreciated as well as keeping him in your prayers as he begins his journey back to health!
