Join Renée's Mission to Grow In Christ and Share the Gospel!

Hi, my name is Renée Anderson. I am a sophomore at North Carolina Central University pursuing my degree in social work. While I did not come to college to grow in my faith, the Lord had different plans. I have tremendously grown in my personal relationship with Jesus these past two years. I have learned how to read the Bible daily, communicate with God through prayer, and live in community with other followers of Jesus. Through these avenues, the Lord has taught me more about his character, and through his grace has really helped me grow in maturity and the service of others.

After much prayer, seeking the Lord’s leading, and hearing from the community of believers around me, I have decided to dedicate my summer to God by attending the discipleship program, City Project, with the Summit Church. Through it, I’ll have the opportunity to grow as a disciple of Jesus through receiving practical theological and ministry training. During this time I will learn to effectively share the Gospel and serve others, which I will be able to put into practice through a two-week trip in Italy. The dates of this project are May 24-July 10. The total cost is $5,000 which will cover all expenses. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and puts me one step closer to answering this calling God has put on my life!

Most importantly, I ask for your prayers. Pray for God to use this experience to shape me and grow me deeper in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray for the churches we are going to serve; pray that God will grant them fruitful ministries. Pray for the spiritual preparation of our team and for those we will encounter. Pray that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and obedient to God’s voice.
