I am excited to officially announce that I have started my own business! It is called Ray West Music VB; I really need support to assist with overhead costs to keep up with the expansion of my business. If you have anything to offer, I will humbly accept it and use it to benefit the community. I am in need of 100 $30 donations to cover the costs of: websites, equipment, travel expenses, scholarships for lessons, and supporting nonprofits with festivals.

My business encompasses everything I do involving performance, music, and art. I have been teaching music for 3 years and have about 20 private students as well as 6 performance groups. I make my income from teaching, and on the weekends, I perform with my band to bridge the gap. I have been holding showcases called The House Show Project for a year, and I have grown that into now having a venue to hold my events at. Things are growing to a point where I can’t keep up financially to maintain this upward trajectory. I also perform circus arts as another creative performance outlet that brings in money. This is the life of a musician working their ass off to see her vision come into fruition.

I am partnering with several nonprofits that support my morals and beliefs with the vision that if the community is thriving, we all thrive. Their support comes from everywhere, and I am bringing music and art into the melting pot. I am currently working to get my music therapy license, so I am majoring in psychology at Purdue Global University to better understand how to help vulnerable populations. My dream is to create a scene that is founded upon itself with strength and unity. I can’t do it alone.
