Hey Friends,
Many of you know me as Raj—or Ricky—from the early days. On March 7th, 2025, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Honestly, I couldn’t believe it myself.
This journey has been unimaginably hard—not just on me, but on my two boys and my amazing wife, who have been my rock through it all. Over the past four months, I’ve endured grueling chemotherapy treatments, and on August 18th, I am scheduled for a major surgery called the Whipple procedure. After 4–6 weeks of recovery, I’ll need to go right back into chemotherapy with the hope and determination of beating this horrific disease.
If you know me, you know I’ve never been one to ask for help. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own. But this time… this time is different. The truth is, the costs are overwhelming. Insurance only covers so much, and the mounting expenses—medical bills, travel, loss of work—are more than we ever could have prepared for. No one ever plans for something like this, and it has taken a heavy toll on our finances and our lives.
It’s humbling and incredibly difficult for me to say this, but I could really use your help. If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to me and my family. Your support will not only help ease the financial strain but will also remind us that we are not facing this battle alone.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for reading this, for caring, and for standing with us during the hardest fight of my life.
With love and gratitude,
Raj (Ricky)
