Hi, my name is Racine! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into the two-year Master of Nursing Science program at the University of Melbourne, beginning in February 2026. Nursing has always been my calling, and this program will help me pursue my dream of building a career in women’s and children’s health while continuing to grow my cross-cultural approach to patient care.
As an international student, I don’t qualify for most financial aid or government loans. While I’ve been saving and preparing, the transition to living abroad — covering tuition, health insurance, and everything in between — is a big financial challenge.
I chose to study in Australia because health care systems look different across the world, and I want to learn from that diversity. By training in Melbourne, I’ll gain a global perspective on patient care that I can carry forward into my work in women’s and children’s health. My past experiences living and working abroad have shown me how much cross-cultural learning strengthens both compassion and adaptability — qualities I know will make me a better nurse.
Your support will go directly toward:
- Tuition and student fees
- Health insurance & required medical exams for my visa
- Essential moving costs (flight, basic supplies, textbooks, medical equipment)
Nursing isn’t just a career choice for me — it’s a passion rooted in compassion, resilience, and service. With your help, I can focus fully on my studies and training, and one day give back by caring for patients and families who need it most.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to this dream. If you can’t donate, sharing my campaign with friends and family would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for supporting my journey into nursing!
