Dear friends and family,

Our hearts are heavy as we share where life has brought us. Since 2019, Quin’s health has been steadily declining. This year, it reached a point we never imagined—he can now only manage 1 to 5 hours of work every two weeks. Most days, even basic tasks are out of reach. He can no longer help care for our five children. While he still shares quiet moments with them—building Legos or playing a short video game—the weight of parenting and caregiving has fallen entirely on me.

Each day is a balancing act of exhaustion, love, and survival.

By God’s grace, we’ve managed to keep a roof over our heads. But now, we are down to our last rent payment. We’ve prayed and explored every avenue. I’ve looked for work, but nothing I’ve found can sustain a family of seven, especially when Quin can’t take over childcare or homeschooling—including special needs.

We’re in the process of applying for Disability for both Quin and our son Damian, but it’s a long, uncertain road. Legal help is in motion, but time is running out.

After months of prayer, tears, and wise counsel, one door has opened: Minnesota. Unlike Idaho, it offers real hope:

• Medicaid waivers with no years-long waitlists

• Paid caregiver options for spouses and parents

• Accessible housing for families with disabilities

• Churches and communities ready to support families like ours

It feels like God is gently—but clearly—pointing us there. And so we’re following, even though we don’t yet see the whole path.

What we need most now is your prayers and help securing housing in Minnesota, both short and long term. We’ve started reaching out to churches in Minneapolis, and we believe God is moving, even in the unknown.

The cost to relocate safely is around $10,000—a moving truck, travel expenses, food, and settling into a new place where we can start over with dignity and hope.
