Help Sweet Piper Beat Bone Cancer

Meet Piper—a joyful, loving 3-year-old Golden Retriever who has stolen the hearts of everyone she meets. She’s more than just a pet; she’s family, a best friend, and a source of constant happiness for her humans.

Back in January, a CT scan revealed something unusual. After a biopsy came back normal, we were hopeful and committed to regular checkups every three months just to be safe. But in March, a new concern appeared—a lump on her leg. Though Piper still acted like her happy self, an x-ray showed signs of something more serious.

A second biopsy confirmed our worst fear: Piper was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her front right leg.

Her family made the incredibly difficult decision to amputate Piper’s leg and begin chemotherapy in hopes of giving her the best chance to beat this aggressive cancer.

Even with pet insurance, the costs are overwhelming—especially with her mom and dad currently planning their wedding. Between surgeries, chemo treatments, and follow-up care, the bills are piling up fast.
