Help Piotrek Fight Glioblastoma

Hello everyone, I'm Kasia Dul. I'm currently raising funds to support my friend, Marta, and her husband, Piotrek Prusaczyk, who is battling Glioblastoma Multiforme.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is a highly complex, deadly, and treatment-resistant cancer, placing significant financial strain on patients and families- according to the National Brain Tumor Society.

On August 1st, 2023, after a trip to the ER for slurred speech

and severe headaches, Piotrek was diagnosed with Stage 4 GBM at the age of 49. Within a week of his diagnosis, Piotrek underwent brain surgery. The surgery was successful but Piotrek still required additional treatment in the form of radiation and chemotherapy.

Despite Piotrek’s heroic fight, adherence to a drastic diet and life change, he remains a wonderful husband to Marta and a caring father to his 10-year-old and 12-year-old boys.

Recently Piotrek’s health started to decline which prompted an MRI scan that showed that the tumor had grown back. His second brain surgery was performed on April 19, 2024. Since radiation and chemotherapy proved ineffective, he is now trying to get into Memorial Sloan Kettering clinical studies that might help him extend his time with his loved ones. However, health insurance does not cover ANY expenses and MSK requires all payments upfront.

Until this point, Piotr and his family have been managing all medical, speech therapy, and living expenses on their own. With new opportunities from clinical trials, their savings are now shrinking and they are in need of additional support.
