Join Perry during her fight against breast cancer.

Perry's family are writing on her behalf as part of our attempt to help her in every way possible during what is the most difficult time of her life.

Perry's world was flipped upside down on April 10th 2024 after learning that she has Stage 3a Luminal B Infiltrating/Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a hormone and lymph node positive breast cancer.

The cancer has spread from its origin in the milk ducts to the axillary lymph nodes, is fed by estrogen and progesterone and the tumor has a higher proliferation rate, which means the cells are quicker to divide and spread versus the lower grade Luminal A subtype.

4 lymph nodes have been affected and she is considered to be high risk.

On May 14th she had her port catheter insertion surgery for chemotherapy medication.

She just started receiving chemotherapy infusions (June 13th), after having to fight her insurance company on the care needed.

After chemotherapy is complete, she will go through a mastectomy, radiation and then reconstruction.

Perry is no longer working at this time. Her fiancé Daniel has to take off work consistently to be able to get her to her appointments, which are all 40+ minutes away. In addition, their sole vehicle is not reliable and needs repairs.

Perry and Daniel have 2 small children to care for in the midst of this hardship. Making them priority, as well as Perry's health, has proven to be a great deal to juggle.

Even though they have a strong support system behind them, much of their family lives out of state.

Perry and Daniel have both overcome many obstacles in their lives, and we are all betting on them that this will be no different.

They have a long, long road to recovery and if you can help financially in any way possible, it definitely would help ease this scary time for them in more ways than words can say.
