UPDATE ON PASTOR TIM'S BATTLE WITH CANCER

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my beloved brother, Timothy Lin. After a courageous battle with cancer, he left us surrounded by love and in peace in late April.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support we received throughout Tim’s fight. Your donations, kind words, and prayers meant the world to him and our entire family.

With Tim’s passing, we are now shifting the purpose of this fundraiser. The funds will now go toward providing support and care for his family during this incredibly difficult time.

If you’re able, we humbly ask that you continue to share or donate to help us honor Tim’s memory and ensure his loved ones have the support they need moving forward.

If you are interested, Tim’s church, Chinese Independent Baptist Church (“CIBC”), is taking a special Love Offering during the months of May and June. All proceeds will be given to the Lin Family in memory of Pastor Tim Lin. To donate online, you can go to CIBC’s website www.cibc-oakland.org and click on the “Give” link. Fill in the needed information. In the Fund Designation section, select “Special Love Fund”. If giving by check, make checks payable to CIBC with “Special Love Fund” written in the memo line. Checks may be sent to CIBC, 280 8th Street, Oakland, CA 94607. If you would like to make a tax deductible gift, do NOT write Pastor Tim or his family's name on the check or in the fund designation section.
