Join Pastor Doug Weber's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

January of 2024 is a month that will forever be ingrained in our minds. So many of you have been following the story of Pastor Doug Weber, who was diagnosed with a
glioblastoma multiform (GBM) last year. This is a very aggressive form of brain cancer with a very low life expectancy. Doug has been fighting by undergoing emergency brain surgery followed by holistic treatments and medication, small doses of chemo and radiation, and with all your prayers. In recent days, he has received news that the tumor is once again growing, but this time it is different than before.

After numerous scans and doctor's visits, doctors at ECU and UNC Health have given us no hope, but we know that our hope lies in the Lord. Their prognosis has been 2-4 months, but we remain hopeful. Despite the recurrence of the tumor, headaches, seizure, and a stroke that has left him with limited mobility and speech, the Lord has continued to allow Doug to live even longer than their original prognosis. God has opened other avenues for Doug to receive new treatments through Hope4Cancer in Mexico. Recently, the integrative doctors in Tennessee have partnered with Hope4Cancer, so we will no longer be returning to TN. They will utilize innovative and rigorous procedures that have proven successful in treating aggressive cancers.

These procedures, medication, and treatments, however, are not covered by insurance. We need your help to make Doug and Amy’s next trip to Hope4Cancer possible. Any donation helps. Due to the urgency of his growing tumor, the plan is to arrive in Mexico next week for two weeks of treatments. From there, additional treatments are scheduled once a month for a five-day treatment. Please share this link with others. We greatly appreciate your support during this time.

Your funds will go directly toward:
1. Treatment expenses – est. $60,000
2. Travel expenses to and from Hope4Cancer
3. Lodging while in Mexico

While your monetary support is necessary, we also request that you keep the Weber family in your prayers continually through this time. Here are some specific ways you can help us pray:

1. Doug’s ultimate healing on this side of Heaven
2. God’s continued direction in decision-making
3. God will get the glory (Doug’s #1 request since the beginning)
4. Restored mobility and speech through Hope4Cancer treatments
5. The future MRI will show a significant reduction in tumor growth
6. The Lord will continue to give faith for the daily doubts and struggles
