On 2/17, Parker was hit by a drunk driver and sustained multiple life-impacting injuries, including a broken femur, pelvis, elbow, humerus, both wrists, and more. She has a long road ahead of her, including multiple surgeries, long-term hospital care, and rehab. Additionally, the car that she, her mom, and her sister used for transportation was wrecked. Although insurance is a blessing, there are a lot of up front and long term out of pocket expenses associated with her recovery. It will be a while before she's back on her feet and able to work.
