Hej! (Hi!) I'm Owen Lennertz, a recent high school graduate and outgoing Rotary International Youth Exchange student. I first learned about Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) as a freshman and have been hoping to participate ever since. My application was accepted and I have been sponsored by Point West Rotary Club. ...Denmark in August 2025!

I am so excited to be going abroad for a year to study and learn a new language and culture. The one downside is that, even with sponsorship, the trip is rather expensive. My family's contribution is a bit over $6,000 with much of that cost covering the open-ended two-way plane ticket. I am hoping that you are willing to donate to help defray the cost of this incredible experience. Any donation will help to make this dream a reality. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will enable me to explore another part of the world and to grow and learn a lot about myself.
