Join Owen's Recovery Journey

On February 25, 2025, I received a call that no mother ever should receive: that my son Owen was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident and was transported to the hospital. After a worrisome two days in the ER, waiting for test after test to be performed, the list of injuries was just getting longer and longer.

It has been almost one week since the accident, and he has already undergone surgery to put his sacrum and pelvis back together with rods and screws. He will have another surgery tomorrow to repair his hand, then onto the next. Owen has a long recovery road ahead of him. He will be sent to an inpatient rehab facility once he is ready to leave the hospital, then home after that, needing 24/7 care.

For all of you that know Owen, he is that special kind of kid that is full of love and is always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs one. This time, it is him that needs that extra hand. He is going to need all the support that we all can give him through this recovery time so that he can maybe go back to doing what he loves the most, learning the trade of remodeling kitchens and bathrooms that he was getting so good at.

I ask that each and every one of you who reads this keeps Owen in your prayers for a full recovery. I have created this GoFundMe to help with his medical bills and living expenses that he will face during this time since he will not have any form of income for the foreseeable future.
