Hello!

Our names are Mahina, Sarah, and Michael and we are the owners of Momona, a restaurant in downtown Chico.

We opened our restaurant in 2015 on 3rd Street. After many beloved years in our historic building, we needed to improve operations to sustain our business.

We found our new location across downtown, the gutted and vacant (also) historic Sherwood Forest building. We started designing and planning in August 2021, anticipating opening at the end of 2022. Fast forward to halfway through 2023, and we are in fact, finally reopening.

Since we have closed our operations for the last month, we are getting creative about funding and looking to our community to help get across the finish line. We will use these funds to help pay the advance costs of reopening.

Being a part of the downtown Chico community humbles us and fills us with the utmost gratitude. We can't wait to serve you again.
