We are The Jefferson Hills TNR Coalition! We are a grassroots animal welfare and community oriented initiative. Our work takes place in Jefferson Hills, PA and its surrounding area. Through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) our mission is to end the cycle of breeding, reduce shelter intake and killing, and improve the relationship between the community and cats. TNR is evidence-based and utilizes humane trapping methods to help bring cats to a veterinarian for spaying or neutering, vaccination and eartipping for identification. Depending on the cats' behavior, they are either returned to their outdoor homes or are adopted into loving families.

We have the people power to run this operation but we are in great need of generous donations to achieve our mission. By contributing to our cause, you can make the biggest difference in the lives of many cats.

This Go Fund Me is set up for our newest project:

The cat colony in our newest project is presumed to have 7-10 cats in need of spaying/neutering and vaccinations. We work with 8 clinics in the Pittsburgh area to provide care for the cats. Depending on their availability, the costs for care can vary. We are considering $100 as a sponsorship for 1 cat, but any amount contributed makes a major difference and gets us closer to our goal. If we have any extra funds left over, they will be going towards the colony to supply with deworming meds, flea meds, warming houses and food.
