Tengo noticias emocionantes que compartir! ¡Tengo la oportunidad de ir a un viaje misionero con mi iglesia, Victory Life Lubbock, a Honduras!

El propósito de este viaje es construir relaciones con el pueblo hondureño y también aprender de ellos. Lo más importante es que estaré compartiendo la verdad de Jesucristo cada vez que se presente la oportunidad. Me siento increíblemente bendecido por Cristo, quien me ha mostrado un amor más grande de lo que jamás podría imaginar.

Este verano es el último antes de comenzar la escuela de medicina a finales de julio. Mi deseo es servir a Cristo y a Su pueblo a lo largo de mi formación médica, y no veo mejor manera de comenzar que con mi iglesia. Mi meta a largo plazo es poder participar eventualmente en un viaje misionero médico con ellos.

Estoy pidiendo dos cosas. Primero, si puedes y estás dispuesto(a) a apoyar económicamente una parte de mi viaje a Honduras, sería una bendición. Sin embargo, no te sientas obligado(a), ya que tus oraciones son el unico apoyo que en verdad necesitare. El viaje se llevará a cabo del 9 al 16 de julio, y recorreremos distintos pueblos con el objetivo de establecer conexiones a largo plazo con los hondureños. Esperamos poder “adoptar” un pueblo (es decir, financiar una iglesia y enviar personas para ministrar), permitiendo que nuestra iglesia patrocine esa comunidad y ayude a difundir la palabra de Cristo.

Hello Church Family,

I have some exciting news to share! I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip with my church, Victory Life Lubbock, to Honduras!

The purpose of this trip is to build relationships with the people of Honduras and to learn from them as well. Most importantly, I will be sharing the truth about Jesus Christ whenever the opportunity arises. I feel incredibly blessed by Christ, who has shown me love beyond what I could ever imagine.

This summer marks my last before starting medical school in late July. I hope to serve Christ and His people throughout my medical education, and I see no better way to begin than with my church. My long-term goal is to eventually participate in a medical mission trip with them.

I am asking for two things. First, if you are able and willing to sponsor a part of my trip to Honduras, that would be wonderful. However, please don’t feel obligated, as your prayers and support mean just as much to God and me. The trip will take place from July 9-16, and it will involve traveling from town to town in an effort to establish long-term connections with the people there. We hope to adopt (fund a church and send people to minister) a small town, allowing our church to sponsor the community and help spread the word of Christ.
