Caring for a loved one with dementia is an emotional and physical challenge that no family should have to face alone. Every three seconds, someone in the world develops dementia—yet support for caregivers and individuals with memory loss remains scarce.

At Philadelphia Life Enrichment Center (PLEC), we are committed to providing relief and resources for caregivers and fostering connections for individuals with dementia. Through our Memory Café Programs, we create safe, engaging spaces where those affected by dementia can experience joy, community, and compassionate support.

Why Your Support Matters

Dementia care is overwhelming. Many caregivers struggle with burnout, and their loved ones often feel isolated. With your help, we can:

 Provide Memory Café programs, where individuals with dementia can engage in meaningful social activities, build friendships, and improve their quality of life.
 Offer educational resources and emotional support to families navigating the complexities of dementia care.
 Provide cognitive screenings by qualified healthcare professionals for early detection and intervention.

Our Goal: $150,000 to Transform Dementia Care in 2025

Every dollar raised goes directly to funding memory cafés and essential support services, so there is "NO COST to participants with dementia and their caregivers for this vital lifeline.
