I recently was diagnosed with pre-cervical cancer. That in itself is terrifying. I had several biopsies done on Wednesday, February 5th. I received the results from those biopsies yesterday, February 10th. Pre-cervical cancer was found throughout my entire cervix, even further up into my uterus. One of the biopsies came back with fragments of invasive carcinoma. I have cervical cancer. My doctor referred me to a gynecological oncologist with a recommendation for a full hysterectomy. This entire thing is terrifying for me. The biggest fear I have is not being able to afford the treatment. I am in the process of trying to find health insurance. Hopefully, that pans out and I can get coverage for all necessary surgeries and appointments. However, recovery time from the surgery is going to greatly affect my household and my ability to pay my bills. I'm just honestly asking for a little bit of help to get us through this financially. The last few appointments were paid for out of pocket, and with work being so slow right now, there isn't much chance of me being able to squirrel some money away to be financially comfortable while I recover from this. Putting my struggles out there for the world to see isn't something I'm proud of, but we need help.
