Join Nirmala's Battle Against Leukemia

Hello everyone,

My name is Nirmala Prajapati. I’m 31 years old.

I was getting quite a few symptoms from non stop bleeding to fever, migraine, swollen lymph nodes, bruises and rashes all over my body. This was back in March/April 2024. I went for a check up in many hospitals, but was told either allergy or migraine, and was given medication accordingly.

Then, it was back in August, my symptoms just started getting worst. I was referred to a skin specialist in kathmandu where my blood was checked. After doing a blood work, it was found that I have blood cancer. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia after series of tests and biopsy that was done in cancer hospital in lalitpur, Nepal. I was also diagnosed a TB in my lymph nodes which needed a year of medication.

On second week of August I was admitted to emergency in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in India after a few successful recommendations from friends and family. I started my chemotherapy there and transferred to Nepal for further chemo sessions. I have a total of 5 chemotherapy sessions. As per doctors, the cost of medical bills, medication and living expenses is very high. The estimated plan is around 40-50 lakhs rupees. It would be really helpful if I can arrange additional money for my further treatment.
