Join Nikolaus's Journey of Healing and Adaptation

Nikolaus was recently involved in a life-changing motorcycle accident that will involve a long journey of healing, recovery, and adapting to a new way of living. He spent the first 10-days at Penrose, with 8 of those being in the critical care unit. He is currently at Kindred Hospital in Denver while his broken wrists heal and then will be transferred to Craig Hospital, also in Denver, for more intensive rehab. Along with his fiancé, Emily, and his grandparents, we are and will continue driving to and from Denver on a daily basis or spend the night up there to ensure he is not alone more than he has to be and because we want to be with him as much as possible. ❤️

Our awesome community has asked for ways to help and encouraged us to set up a donation site - any contributions are greatly appreciated. The most immediate needs are to support with medical bills after insurance and to help cover his expenses as he will not be able to work for an extended period of time. We know there will be future needs as well; we'll address things as they come. We truly have no set donation goal in mind but we had to put a number in to move forward.

Naturally, there are processing fees for every donation site. If you wish to give directly or support in other ways please let us know. We are truly grateful for whatever you can donate.
