Join Neriah’s Brave Fight Against Leukemia

Hi everyone, my name is LaTonia and I am reaching out with a heart full of hope and a mission of love. Mariam and Frank, whose journey intertwines deeply with mine, are facing a challenge no family should endure alone. Our story together began years ago, rooted in a lifelong friendship passed down from our fathers. Mariam, a beacon of kindness, and Frank, a man of unwavering faith, have been more than friends to me; they
are my family.
It was in their company, through a Bible study that Frank led, that I found my way and to Jesus, a turning point that reshaped my life. Their love blossomed into a beautiful union, and soon, they welcomed two angels, Nehemiah and Neriah, into their world. As parents, Mariam and Frank embody love and nurture, extending their warmth and wisdom not just to their children but to everyone around them, including my husband and me.
Tragedy struck on an ordinary day when Neriah, their youngest, began to show alarming symptoms. Rushed to the ER after a series of worrying signs, their worst fears were confirmed: Neriah was diagnosed with leukemia. This news, heart-wrenching and unfathomable, has left us grappling for words of comfort.
In these times of trial, our church and community have rallied in prayer, seeking strength and healing for Neriah. We recognize, though, that faith and love, while powerful, God also moves through people fulfill tangible needs. The journey ahead is daunting, not least due to the overwhelming financial burden that accompanies such a diagnosis.
In this season, where love, joy, and peace are more than just words, we are initiating this fundraiser to support Neriah’s battle against cancer. This is an invitation to extend your generosity and kindness to a family that has always put others before themselves. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings light into this challenging journey and eases the financial strain on Mariam and Frank.
May your hearts be moved to join us in this fight. Your support is more than a donation; it’s a gift of hope, a gesture of solidarity, and an act of love. We are profoundly grateful for each contribution, and may God bless you for your generosity.
