Mountaineer Youth Football and Cheerleading is one big family. Some of you may know that we have a family member that is in the middle of a battle, and as an organization, we are standing with and supporting Jamon Hyatt in his battle with kidney failure. Jamon is the bonus dad to Brantley Stephenson and is a huge supporter of all the kids of MYFC. His kidney function significantly declined in 2022 after some medical complications. Then, he went into complete kidney failure in July 2023. He started in center dialysis and has been doing home hemo dialysis since December 2023. Before he can be put on the kidney transplant list he has to have a surgery and multiple procedures. He is hoping to be put on the kidney transplant list or find a live donor match. A gofundme account will be set up that MYFC will donate to and help support, Jamon and Brandi during this time for medical expenses and travel to appointments.
