Chasing Olympic Gold: My Story

My name is Branden Fitzgerald. With the help of my dad (Sean), I’ve launched a fundraiser to fuel my dream of becoming an Olympic champion. My journey kicked off in 2022 when I was 13 and fell in love with clay target shooting the first time I picked up a shotgun. During my very first trap shooting lesson, I scored a 23—pretty solid for a beginner—and it was a sign of big things to come. After joining a youth shooting team, I started crushing it in different shooting disciplines. Just four months in, I was already competing in tournaments and bringing home wins. By 2024, I had my eyes set on Olympic gold and becoming a world champ in International Skeet. That year was huge—in the first month, I made it to my first final and snagged a silver medal in my third event in the junior men’s division at the Jacksonville International Skeet Open.

Guidance That’s Shaping Me

I’ve been lucky to train under Remington McBee, a legit pro in the shooting world, as part of McBee's Finest Pro Team. His coaching has leveled up my skills, from perfecting my aim to strengthening my mental focus. Plus, his connections in the sport have opened doors for me, getting me ready for the ups and downs of competing at the highest level.
