Join My Journey: Battling MS and Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hi all! About a month and a half ago, the left side of my body went numb. I have since been going through numerous medical tests to try to find out why! This week, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. My left leg is still numb and weak, and I’m having difficulty walking and doing stairs. You might even catch me with a very cool new cane. I feel hopeful now that I have a diagnosis as I can begin treatment and management. But also know that some days I might not feel like myself or I may struggle with movement. Im grateful my body is still able to do all it can. Im grateful for everyone who’s been there for me so far and will be in the future.
But, even with insurance, medical costs are starting to add up. One day of MRIs itself was nearly $1000. I will have to get these MRIs AT LEAST yearly, this week I have a spinal tap, it all seems to be adding up quickly.
I appreciate any and all help anyone is willing to give and thank you in advance.
