It’s My Birthday… and I’m Begging (but Not Like a Dog… Okay Maybe a Little)

Hey friends, family, and fellow animal lovers—

A very big birthday is coming up (like, one of those numbers you pretend is a typo), and instead of cards, gifts, or anti-aging cream, I’m asking for something way more meaningful:

As many of you know, I love all animals. Yes, even the weird ones. But especially the dogs and cats at UFAR—a local rescue that works tirelessly to get them off the streets and into loving homes. These sweet souls deserve soft beds, full bellies, medical care, and belly rubs (okay, maybe just the dogs on that last one).

Your donation—whether it’s $5 or $50—goes directly to:

   •   Food (because kibble isn’t free!)

   •   Vet care (shots, surgeries, sniffly noses)

   •   Shelter (a roof beats a sidewalk any day)

   •   Staff who work 24/7 to give these animals a shot at life

So instead of birthday balloons that pop in an hour or socks I’ll never wear, help me help them. Let’s make this birthday about giving back—with fur, fluff, and a whole lot of heart.
