Muslims in Nigeria with Cerebral Palsy, disabilities, and special needs often lack support in society. Unfortunately, they are sometimes viewed as "different." However, they are beautiful creations of Allah, deserving of love and compassion.

Muslims are encouraged to care for those in need. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"You gain no victory or livelihood except through (the blessings of) the weak amongst you." [Sahih al-Bukhari 2896]

Such individuals were cared for during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). For example, Hibbaan ibn Munqith, who suffered from a mental disorder, was assisted by the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he faced challenges in trade. [Al-Haakim, Al-Bayhaqi]
