My sweet Muffin had a bump appear on her nose at the end of December, around the time I got a roommate with a cat that does not get along with her. She is very territorial and cannot be around male cats, so there were doubts that this bump could've been altercation-related as the two cats were face to face by accident a few times. Unfortunately, after noticing the bump grow and lab tests being made, Muffin was diagnosed with cancer on April 2nd. My baby just turned 7 on March 13, so this broke my heart so much more than anyone can imagine.

I did not have pet insurance, so everything so far has been paid out of pocket (onto my two credit cards), leaving me in debt over $4K so far. Cancer has only been detected on her nose after doing x-rays and bloodwork, but I am still waiting to hear back about her lymph nodes. Being that Muffin's tumor is located on her nose, a small area, there is a possibility that it can be surgically removed if the surgeon approves. I was given an estimate of about 6K if that is something that can be done.
