I have an exciting opportunity to travel to Kenya in June to work with WorldServe on a mission trip.

WorldServe understands that women and girls bear the brunt of water scarcity. When clean water is accessible, amazing transformations can occur, especially in the education of girls. It is crucial for us to support girls in staying in school once they have the chance to attend.

One major hurdle many girls face is the inability to attend school during their menstrual cycles. With inadequate restroom facilities, a lack of hygiene products, and cultural taboos, girls in developing countries can miss up to four days of school each month. As these absences stack up, many girls risk falling too far behind to continue their education.
