Hello all my name is Milagros "Millie" Caban, three weeks ago I went to go the urgent care ( thinking I pulled a muscle on my left side) and from there I had to go to the emergency room to have a CT scan done. My left kidney was swollen along with my ureter . I was then referred Urologist (thinking it was just kidney stones), I then went on to have more CT scan with contrast and other ultrasounds.

On July 21st I had surgery to place a stent to release urine from my left kidney.

Still not sure what was causing the swelling my Urologist had to talk with other doctors and on July 29th, at my follow-up, my doctor told me that I would need to have an extensive surgery in 4-6 weeks. Explaining that I would need to have a Ureteral Reimplantation with a Psoas Hitch and possibly a Boari Flap if the Psoas Hitch does not work. I will be out of work for 4-6weeks, so long as their is not complication. Long story short having a hysterectomy and two C-Section caused scar tissue to make my left ovary attach itself to the left ureter cutting off ureter to release urine. The doctors are not sure if it is scar tissues or endometriosis, as I do not have a uterus. There were no tumors involved, which I'm very grateful. It is very hard to ask for help as for those who know me-Im very independent and asking for help is not something that I'm good at.

Im asking for help financially, incase there are complications and Im unable to go back to work right away. Thank you in advance for help and prayers.
