Since birth Mikey was not dealt a fair hand of cards, from being born with Congenital heart disease to having His first major surgery at just six years old. He has been in and out of the hospital ever since he was two months old, followed by another major surgery at just 13 yrs old. He has been back and forth getting catheterizations trying to cover a leak in his heart. Mikey was scheduled for major surgery on June 25th, when we received the heart braking news from the Doctors stating they can't do the surgery due to his heart being too weak and it being far too risky to operate. They have him on medication in hope to make the heart stronger for surgery. If the meds don't work he will need a HEART TRANSPLANT. My son has been through so much and he's still a lil trooper. These funds will be used to help cover medical bills as well as to help the family with getting through day to day expenses. We thank you all kindly for taking the time to read Mikey’s story.
