Help Save Snoop’s Hips ♥️
Donation protected
Hi, my names Caitlyn & I am raising money for my brother Mike ! He adopted his puppy, Snoop, back on March 8th; this puppy was full of energy, loved to run, loved to play & loved to swim, up until one morning he couldn’t move. He wouldn’t get up without crying in pain, wouldn’t walk, could barely even get up to go to the bathroom - to the point of having accidents in the house despite being fully house broken. Mike immediately took him to an animal hospital & was told that they think Snoop has hip dysplasia. He was given medication which helped with the pain, but during his follow up with his normal vet, Snoop was, in fact, diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia and he will now need a double hip replacement by his first birthday; the vet indicated that if this was not done, Snoop would be permanently paralyzed following his first year of life. The vet indicated that this case was so bad it was almost as if both hip sockets were not even formed. Mike is obviously devastated - any animal lover would understand the pain. The only reason that the hip replacement isn’t being done right away, is because Snoop is too young. A hip replacement for a dog costs upwards of $7,000 - bilateral hip replacement is $14,000. His family is contributing all we can, but anything you can do would be MUCH appreciated! Thank you for taking the time reading our story, and thank you for your donation ♥️
